Practical Leadership Training for Church Safety Directors

Each 60–75 minute Zoom session tackles real-world leadership challenges—everything from forming a team and writing policies to handling trespassers and planning for severe weather. Is this for large churches only?
No. The Program Kit was designed with the realities of ordinary small and mid-sized churches in mind—limited volunteers, limited budgets, competing ministry priorities, and often no professional security staff.
It also works for larger churches that want a more organized system for policies, training, assessment, documentation, and ongoing improvement.
Do I need a background in law enforcement or security?
No. You do not need professional security, law-enforcement, or military experience.
The Program Kit is designed for Safety Directors, pastors, deacons, and other church leaders who have been given responsibility for building or strengthening the ministry. The courses provide practical, step-by-step guidance to help you work through the decisions and systems your church needs.
What is the difference between Basic and Premium?
Both tiers include the complete Church Safety Program Kit—courses, templates, resources, and Safety Director Workshops.
Basic is designed for churches that are comfortable working through the system largely on their own.
Premium includes everything in Basic, plus one-on-one coaching, help applying the materials to your church, feedback on policies and plans, and priority support.
Is this an online program or a physical product?
The Program Kit is entirely online.
You receive access to the courses, downloadable templates and documents, resource library, workshop materials, and live online Safety Director Workshops through your Thinkific account.
There is nothing to ship, and you can begin using the materials as soon as your enrollment is active.
How long will I have access to the Program Kit?
Annual plans include 12 months of access and renew each year at the applicable renewal price.

What support is included?

What if I miss a Safety Director Workshop?
That is not a problem. Recordings and summaries are added to the Program Kit when available, so members can review sessions they were unable to attend live.
