Course Description

This downloadable bundle contains a fully customizable Powerpoint® Presentation (slides), so you can add, delete, and modify the slides to fit your church's unique size, setting and policies.

It comes with an Instructor Guide that has slide by slide instructions, so you know what to say for each slide. It also has several guided activities and tips for teaching the course.

In addition, this instructor bundle comes with a Director Manual designed to provide church and team leaders a higher view of the materials, so they can develop the response plan at their level.

Finally, you get access to our Streaming Videos for one year. They are great way to prepare yourself to teach the material and they can even be shown in the classroom until you are more comfortable teaching.

Each state has a set of self protection laws that define when a person has a right to protect themselves or another person. This chapter outlines general circumstances as to when the safety team members can use force and/or deadly force in life preservation. This is great information to have under many circumstances. As one seeks to protect others, they need to keep in mind that with such power comes great responsibility. Care must be utilized to avoid harm to innocent people who may be in the area. Criminal prosecution as well as Civil litigation can result with reckless actions.
